El Camino Inglés

El Camino Inglés follows the Camino de Santiago route that starts in Ferrol, in Spain’s Galicia region, and ends in Santiago de Compostela. Historically, it was the path used by pilgrims arriving by sea from places like Britain and Ireland, and that influence still feels present through the region’s Celtic roots. You hear it in the music, see it in local symbols, and feel it in the landscape.

This series reflects time spent walking the trail day after day. Early starts, long stretches of road, small towns, fog and rain moving in and out, and the kind of light you only notice when you are outside for hours at a time. The photographs focus on the experience of moving through the landscape on foot and the quieter moments that accumulate along the way. It is less about the finish line and more about the pace of the journey.
