After the First
On January 1, 2025, New Orleans was shaken by a terrorist attack that claimed 14 lives and injured dozens more. The city was stunned: grieving, raw, and uncertain. Three weeks later, snow fell—more than the city had seen in over a century. It was quiet, surreal, and strangely healing. This series captures that rare moment: a city paused, softened, and briefly at peace. In the stillness, we found connection, beauty, and a flicker of hope; reminders of who we are as a community and what endures.
